Course description:
Situational Awareness is ‘knowing what is going on around you’. High risk industry workers require a high level of situational awareness in order to recognise safety threats, and take action to mitigate the threat.
Vast research has been conducted in understanding the components of situational awareness, and the unique knowledge and techniques to apply to heighten the awareness levels of individuals in high-risk environments.
This course also focuses on identifying, and responding appropriately, and timeously to the clues to the loss of situational awareness, and key habits to adopt in order to maintain a high level of situational awareness.
