Aviation Medicine Theory
Course Outline
This AVMED Theory course is designed for Air Crew as their initial training, or for Crew wanting to refresh their AVMED training.
This course will provide the necessary knowledge and understanding of the possible medical cases that may be encountered onboard an aircraft, either inflight or on the ground, and the protocols to follow as a first responder.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Please note that this course covers the theoretical elements of the AVMED Training only, and not the practical training required by Crew Members under SACAA (The South African Civil Aviation Authority) regulations.
