Course Outline

Safety Officer Drone Awareness (SODA) (Level 2) is designed to provide safety personnel with a thorough understanding of the regulations, operational challenges & hazards associated with the operation of Drones in & around your company facility, as well as how to conduct site assessments, briefings, & quality control when operating drones in a commercial environment.

Mining & construction sites, factories, plants, & all other commercial facilities are required to oversight contracted drone operations at their respective facilities, as the operation of drones can cause major & catastrophic events if not operated safely.

This program will equip Safety Managers with the knowledge to provide such oversight and manage drone operations to ensure safely and compliance in respect of aviation regulations.
